TIMBER HEART

heart tree

Axe amputates our tentacles
Acid splatters intact roots
No way to wake up in the sky
No situate to hide in the earth

Nobody can seal our ogle
We will unearth novel ethnicity
Perforate our pedigree deep
Spurt out in concrete jungle

Bestow no muck; no water
We burgeon in missile tempo
Amid no mislay of sepulcher
Humanity dwells in timber heart!

  1. ‘Humanity dwells in timber heart!’ Love that line, we should be respecting nature and becoming closer to it as we used to be. Great picture as well, fits the poem perfectly.
